How to Develop a Purposeful and Conscious Business

by Steve Messineo

Owner YourBizSuccessCoach.com | Professional Lead Generator & Coach | Connect w/me for Free

In the video you see here, I discuss the importance of developing a purposeful and conscious business in order to achieve greater success in it. Check it out now or continue reading below.

If you want to grow your Practice successfully, you should have a purpose behind your business. Every owner should have a clear expression of its purpose. So, at first, ask yourself why it exists.

Most owners’ primary goal is to run profitable businesses. Unfortunately, the desire for greater profits comes at the expense of the major stakeholders of the business itself.

Stakeholders include customers, employees, investors, suppliers, the community, and the environment. When profits become the primary objective and owners neglect to consider the effect this has on the business stakeholders, then the it will ultimately fail.

Conscious owners take all of the stakeholders into consideration in everything they do. They create win-win scenarios for each of the stakeholders, and as a result, all of the stakeholders have a greater interest in supporting the business.

So make sure that you surround yourself with people who are in tune with the purpose that you have for your business and in tune with the way you want to do it. If you take care of the needs of your stakeholders, they will come around to support you for the growth of your business.

This ultimately increases the businesses’ profits. The effect running a conscious business has on the bottom line is far greater than running a business with little to no consideration for its stakeholders.

This is proven in the book “Conscious Capitalism” by John Mackey, the founder of Whole Foods Market. It is a book I highly recommend for all practice owners.

One of the tenants of Conscious Capitalism is that a business must have a purpose for being in existence. Additionally, that purpose must not only be supported by the owner’s own purpose, but also by the employees who work there as well.

Employees who have the same buy in to the purpose and vision of their work will generally be happier with their work, stay on board longer, and be advocates for the company through thick and thin. Ultimately, employee happiness leads to the happiness of other stakeholders, including customers, and the business thrives.

Gaining Recognition for Your Business by Supporting Charities

Your supporting charities at any time of the year is a great way to gain recognition for your business and for the customers you serve.

This short video explains why, and shares a strategy for supporting charities that is a win-win for everyone involved. The charitable element of a company can be a cornerstone of showing the world that they are honest and credible. Sharing the stories can benefit your company on many levels.

Local charities can often offer low-cost sponsorship opportunities for events they run in the local associations and society. By publicly supporting local charities, a business can become compatible with supporting the community in local peoples mindset. Look for charities that you identify in and to which you have some affinity. Not only will it be more fun, but also you’ll be happier giving your time and means.

In business point of view, look for charities that gives meaningful exposure to a large number of influential people. While sponsoring a charitable event, always choose one in which your target market would participate. Get involved causes that attract  high-profile media’s attention. You may also request your charity to recognize your support in their own publicity efforts.

Holding Yourself Accountable to Achieve Business Success

If you don’t hold yourself accountable for getting things done in your business that will help you achieve success, who will? To do so though can be a challenge for many small and home business owners.

It is very important to stay on top of your TO-DO-LIST. You don’t have to be responsible for every action in your business, but you should be willing to hand over some of the work on your desk to other team members. Set deadlines and stay in touch to ensure those tasks get done successfully.

When you set goals, be super-specific: How much do you want to increase sales?  The more you plan out your goals and steps to reaching them, the more you will actually succeed. You won’t always have things go your way, and in these cases, all you can do is change how you react.

Ultimately holding yourself accountable for your actions, enables you to take responsibility for how your day progresses. It also gives you the means to change bad habits and improve on new resolutions and goals.

Learn a technique for keeping yourself accountable in this video.

If you would like to discuss more accountability strategies afterwards, schedule a complimentary consultation with me at  http://meetme.so/yourbizsuccesscoach and I’ll offer you some ideas to help you keep yourself on track with your business goals.

Laws of the Mind for Your Business

/in , , /by

by Steve Messineo

Owner YourBizSuccessCoach.com | Professional Lead Generator & Coach | Connect w/me for Free

In this video, I am going to talk about two more laws of the seven laws of mind. The two laws are “the law of relaxation” and “the law of consciousness”.

In order to progress in anything in your business, you have to be mentally relaxed and focus on what you want to achieve. Relaxation is the only doorway to progress mentally. “Relaxation of thought is the only access to the infinite intelligence” as stated by Napoleon Hill. Now that may seem a little intense but, at the same time, it works.

So, focus on just relaxing your mind a little bit each day. Spend 15-20 minutes sitting in a quiet area. Do some deep breathing. Pull your emotions together and put things aside that don’t matter. Then, you can focus on the important things to grow your business.

If your subconscious mind has in place that you want to achieve something, it will essentially get the rest of your mind working to make that happen for you. So, it’s a kind of belief system. If you believe in what you are doing, you can be successful. If you believe something strongly, your mind will help you make that happen.

It has been proven that you need relaxation, consciousness, and self-belief to accomplish your goals and achieve greater success. You can read “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill to learn why.

If you would like to discuss more, schedule your complimentary consult to discuss using the Laws of the Mind in your business at:  http://meetme.so/yourbizsuccesscoach or call 508-942-3229.

Talk to you soon. Thanks for watching!

Formula for Success – How Persistence Pays off in Business!

/in , , /by

by Steve Messineo

Owner YourBizSuccessCoach.com | Professional Lead Generator & Coach | Connect w/me for Free

In this video I discuss how persistence plays a key role in the success of your business.  Check it out now!

Persistence in implementing the right strategies and action plans for greater success and growth in their businesses is something a lot of small business owners lack, despite being a key component of the formula for success.

Many small business owners implement new strategies and action plans with a half heart-ed approach.  They will try something new once or twice, but if it does not pan out for them immediately, i.e. they don’t see an immediate return on their investment of time, energy, and money, they give up on it without truly working out all of the nuances that would ultimately make that strategy or action plan pay off.

This lack of persistence is commonly a result of one or a combination of the following:

1) Their own internal belief systems are suspect,

2) Their execution plans are not well defined, and/or

3) They lack at true purpose or vision for their business long term.

I discussed Purpose, Belief, and Execution in previous videos in my series on the Formula for Success.  You can get access to these videos by subscribing to my channel here:  https://youtube.com/stevemessineo1 and I recommend you watch these videos if you feel you and your business are deficient in these areas.

When you have a purpose for your business that truly resonates with your soul, a belief in your business model that is unwavering, and solid execution plans for the implementation of systems and action plans you recognize are necessary to support your company’s vision, then persistence, i.e. staying the course and working through the challenges of “getting it right” for the benefit of all involved in your business, is not a problem.

This is because you realize that not everything you do is going to work the first or second time.  You realize it takes time, energy, and money to get it right and you realize that the investment of these resources will pay off greatly in the long run.  You just have to be willing to stick with it.

If you and/or your team recognize that persistence in implementing the right systems and action plans for your business is a problem, then I recommend you take advantage of a complimentary consultation with me by clicking here: http://yourbizsuccesscoach.com/consult.

When you do, I will take the time to learn about the challenges you face in your business and provide you with some insights on how to stay persistent with important systems and strategies to allow you to realize greater results in for your business in the near future.

I look forward to connecting with you and helping you do so.  Thanks for watching and stay tuned for my upcoming videos on the Formula for Success!

How Happiness Plays a Role in Your Success

Owner YourBizSuccessCoach.com | Professional Lead Generator & Coach | Connect w/me for Free

There is a wonderful book The Happiness Advantage by Shawn Achor. It talks about how happiness plays a great role not only in your life but also in your business.

Most people believe that if you are successful in life or business you would be happy and that success brings happiness. Research, on the contrary shows that it is the other way round. It is happiness that brings success.

If there is positivity around you, it gives rise to happiness. You are happy, the people around you are happy and the people who work with you and deal with you are happy. This state of happiness increases productivity, and makes everyone perform the best.

Success is something most of us want. But we want happiness, too. Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! With a humble but reasonable confidence in your own power.  You can pick up Shawn Achor’s marvelous book at Amazon.com.

When you are done, if you would like to talk to me and get some more details on how to get customers to buy more  to make your business successful, schedule a complimentary consultation with me here: http://yourbizsuccesscoach.com/consult

Adding Value to Convert Leads to Sales

/in , , /by

by Steve Messineo

Adding value to your offers is key to converting more leads to sales. Adding value makes your lead/prospect/soon to be customer feel better about considering your product/service and about their decision to buy from you.

Adding value will also lead to more referrals for your business.  If the value you ad to your offers is superior to what any of your competitors are doing, then your prospects will recognize this and share your information with others.

It is also important to understand what additional value your target market would appreciate.  Don’t be afraid to “Give Away the Farm” in your value ad offers.  If your prospect converts to a customer, then you can more than make up for providing additional value by getting them to purchase additional products or services later.  This is what Amazon does with the Kindle.

Think about what kind of additional value you can offer your prospects. The right value ads will lead to more customers for you.

I go into more detail in this video on how to add value for your prospects to make it easier for them to become customers.

If you would like to discuss some ways you can add value for your leads to help them make a buying decision, then schedule a complimentary consult with me at: http://meetme.so/yourbizsuccesscoach and we’ll brainstorm on some value add ideas for your business.

If would would like access to an online business building system that adds a ton of value for anyone involved, check out: http://yourbizsuccesscoach.com/mttbem and let me know what you think.

Control Your Destiny – Build Your Own Business!

by Steve Messineo

Owner YourBizSuccessCoach.com | Professional Lead Generator & Coach | Connect w/me for Free

Starting your own business is not as difficult or challenging as you might think it is. I and countless other business owners are proof of that.

In this video, I am going to talk about how you can control your destiny by building your own business! But first a question for you: Have you been fired or laid off from your job? It probably was not a very comfortable situation in your life.  It most likely had you feeling down and worried. But more likely than not, you got over it and found a new job.  Point is, you are still not entirely in control of your destiny by working for others and there is the potential for you to lose your job again.

Let me share my story with you. When I was 23 years old, I got a job as a sales representative in a manufacturing company. I did not like the work and eventually they let me go because of my terrible work. But that one incident really got me focused and made my choice clear. I understood what I wanted to do and took control of my own destiny.

My father worked as executive sales representative at Kraft Food Service Company for over 20 years. He wanted to retire early. But when they came to know it, they laid off my father from his job. He was extremely hurt by this.

Right then, I decided I did not want that to happen to me. I decided I would not answer to anybody except me in the work I do. I would create my own destiny and build a business on my own.  Soon after, I started my first business and did not look back.

I encourage you to control your own destiny and be successful in your business as well as in your life. If you need strategies and plans to start up and grow your business, I can help you with that. Contact me for consultation any time you are ready to get going!

Being successful in your own business is a big challenge and one that is difficult to go alone.  You will have to learn and implement systems for business growth. As the owner of 4 businesses, I have the experience to help you do just that and see great results from your new business sooner than later.

If you would like to discuss about how to getting your own business off of the ground, schedule a complimentary consultation with me at http://meetme.so/yourbizsuccesscoach.

I will take the time necessary to learn about you and what you would like to do, then offer you some advice on how to get started.

There is no obligation to work with me beyond the free consultation.  I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for watching and reading!

Why Facebook is Great Tool for Growing Your Practice

/in , , /by

by Steve Messineo

Owner YourBizSuccessCoach.com | Professional Lead Generator & Coach | Connect w/me for Free

Have you tried using Facebook to promote your clinic / practice, but the results are not what you hoped for.  If so, you are not alone.  Many clinic or practice owners go through the process of creating a fan page and posting random content that they THINK is relevant to their customers and will interest them. Often they find that, they are not getting the engagement they would like to have to promote their business.

Facebook offers great tools and if you know how to use them effectively, you can see an increase in the number of new referrals coming in your practice. To achieve this you will  have to create a fan page for your business. Once you have done that then you get people to engage with the page, by liking it, then sharing & commenting on posts consistently. You should engage your FB fans in a social way instead of just providing static information about what you do. You need to be more creative to get your fans involved enough with your fan page to want to like and share your posts.  Think about your client’s interests instead of your own when writing posts.  Share fun and entertaining content when ever possible.  Tell stories that resonate with your fans.  These are some of the things you should be doing regularly to increase engagement with your fan page, and ultimately, drive in customers to your business.

In the following video, I talk more about how you can use Facebook to grow your practice and get more new patients coming in. Take a look!”
